SEEDS

 

SEEDS is a small group of Ascension members who get together the second Wednesday of the month for lunch out.  Decisions where to eat are spontaneous and varied.  They also participate in the weekly domino games held every Wednesday starting at 9:30 a.m.  In the past we have had bunco parties and learned Mah Jong.   

Everyone is welcome to attend a SEEDS event.

 

 

Background on this group:  When Happy Reeves was our seminarian, she suggested a group for widows.  Then, the group grew to include ladies who weren't widows.  It was just great getting together and eating out.  The dominoes activity was started by Helen Kneten and has been a hit from the beginning.  Pastor usually goes with the group to lunch.  Now the SEEDS group includes men, couples and all ages.   All are welcome any time.
